Pimp My Sony PSP Go!
The Sony PSP Go! is a great little portable gaming machine and has served me well for gaming fixes on the go, particularly on long flights.
A PSP Go! with custom firmware installed also becomes a great little portable emulation machine expanding your potential protable gaming portfolio from hundreds to thousands of games.
But why limit it to portable gaming only? The versatility of the PSP Go! would suggest that it will also make a great home games console.

To play your Sony PSP Go! through the TV using a Sony PS3 controller, you will need:
1. A PSP Go! (A standard PSP does not have video out on the PSP's connector without modification).
2. A PSP Go! to component video lead.
3. A PS3 (You need to utilise a PS3 to link the PS3 controller to the PSP Go! the first time only. Once it has been done once, the PS3 controller will link to the PSP Go! without a PS3.).
4. A PS3 controller.
5. A TV with component video input (Normally three RCA connectors coloured red, green and blue respectively.).

Why Bother?
1. Because you can, so any Geek worth their salt would.
2. Because you can play Sony PS1 games on the PSP Go! using PopStation emulator.
3. Because you can play NES, SNES, Sega Master System and Sega Megadrive/Genesis games on the PSP Go! using respective emulators.
4. Because you can play Arcade games using PSP Mame4All emulator.
5. Because you can play Amiga games using PSPUAE emulator.
6. This could go on all night so we will stop there.

A great nights gaming was had, and I now leave the composite lead permanently attached to the TV to plug the PSP Go! in at will.
