A series of scenes deleted from the final theatrical cut of
The Terminator, including two scenes which essentially have the whole
plot of Terminator 2: Judgement Day within them.
Each deleted scene comes with audio commentary from James Cameron who explains why he felt that the specific scene shouldn't make the final theatrical cut of the movie.
Uninteresting Fact: The Blu-Ray release of The Terminator has the deleted scenes included as an extra, but the deleted scenes have a mono sound track?! Also, the Blu-Ray release does not include the deleted scenes with James Cameron audio commentary which in my opinion is better than the deleted scenes on their own. This is exactly why I am preserving these DVD extras.
Its an interesting look into how tricky it can be to edit and polish a movie so that it has the best feel and flow for the audience.
